Player Character: The Robot AI
Developing a character in Photoshop to represent the player as a newly built AI in a robotic body. After taking inspiration from industrial machinery and steam-punk robotics I tried to develop a robot that looked humanoid but clearly not synthetic human. Pistons, wires and metal plates making up the figure should look expertly made but using salvaged parts would suit a miss-matched or ramshackle build. They were drawn in Photoshop using a graphics tablet.

NPC: The Steampunk Engineer
Developing a character in Photoshop to represent the Steampunk Engineer NPC, the creator. As a skilled worker from the working class they would have enough money to dress smarter than factory workers. I want to represent the job with tools and equipment suited to engineering and possibly bionics to reflect industrial injury or turning their self into a better tool for the job.

NPC: The Local Alien
Developing a character in Photoshop to represent the local tribal warrior NPC. I wanted the alien to be quite dangerous-looking but lacking high-tech equipment. Their tribal nature would contrast with the steam-punk future gear of the humans and I don't want them to look too human but they should be ground-based and of similar size.
